Cumbia Bass Beats II: Raza Takeover

CBB

Finally Cumbia Bass Beats Numero Dos is here:

GRAB THEM HERE:
CUMBIA BASS BEATS II (part 1) and CBB: Raza Takeover (Part 2)

Do NOT skip Part II, because most of real/traditional cumbia loops are inside Raza Takeover.

All Cumbia Bass beats tracks have been carefully crafted and wherever possible, the samples have been tested in Ableton, Logic Pro, Acid Pro, FL studio and most of them were well mastered allowing us producers to maximize the sonic palette for cumbia.

Most of the loops are sample-accurate which allows total flexibility to mix & layer together any combination of sounds which helps facilitate endless sonic fusions.

In Fact the result is so awesome that we decided to do a showcase with just a very small portion of the samples and adding our own styles..

This particular showcase has only 8 sounds combined in different ways and speed to create any Style that can fit from Traditional, to Digital Cumbia, Moombahton or dubstep inspired cumbia or Tropical Bass or even 3Ball, Twerk or Zouk Bass with some Cumbia Flavor.

Raza Takeover has loops from Global bass heads such as Dengue-Dengue-Dengue, Caballo, Bleepolar, Dj Tamalero, Banginclude, Bubbleheads,as well as some great sound engineers/instructors like Mike Bruce, from the Beat Making Lab.

Cumbia Bass Beats II will be given for free and actually it has different dynamics to reflect today’s musical fast changing environment.

Because it is a FREE DOWNLOAD and it has over 350 MB

The whole compilation will be divided in Cumbia Bass Beats II and CBB Raza Take Over.

CUMBIA BASS BEATS II (part 1) and CBB: Raza Takeover (Part 2)

The first one will have cumbia loops that can fit into Moombahton, Dubstep, Twerk, Zouk Bass, 3Ball, Champeta or Plain Cumbia.

Raza Takeover will have more organic loops that can fit any style, but if you are a more skilled or like more traditional cumbia loops, then DO NOT SKIP vol 2.

If you do not have Cumbia Bass Beats 1.. grab it here
complete the collection HERE >

Even if you do not make cumbia and to show it in a real context, let`s have a look to another showcase of CUMBIA BASS BEATS vol 2: Raza Takeover.

This song has been created using the loops in the library plus a synth from Corrupted Data’s twerk it track. in order to show the sonic availability of the library plus any creative idea.

The song uses the chorus of the papaconyuca cumbia track from the #yoquieropapaconyuca movement

Papa con Yuca

001

conmigo2

No Puede Conmigo is a free EP by Panama Beat Making Lab released by Mal Dicen x Latino Resiste x ARTVSM. All original songs were recorded in Portobelo, in a community music-studio in where the set the Beat Making Lab up.

The final result is a FREE ALBUM full of trap, moombahton, hip hop, latin-jazz and heavy bangers.
PLUS a whole bunch of BONUS remix EP, made by some heavyweight producers.

No Puede Conmigo also features Kulakostas and Tree City – the first and second-place winners of the Panama Beat Challenge. They were given the task of making a trap beat out of a sample a young Panamanian accordion prodigy named Martin.

Beat Making Lab family/judges: Apple Juice Kid, Caballo and The 13th Tribe selected the top winners, who also received free SoundCloud Pro accounts.
Winner

EP opens with a a great example of the collaborative nature of a Beat Making Lab. Producer Apple Juice Kid sampled Barrio Fino – a Panamanian comparsa band – and The Beast – a hip hop and jazz quartet from Durham, North Carolina – to make the beat. Guest vocalist Yomira John blessed the track with an her amazing voice and lyrics. Yomira’s recording session, which took place during a blackout in Portobelo, was turned into a music video.
Video only used and Iphone light and a USB mic!!! great example you can achieve big things with mere talent!

One more song that made this BML very unique is the addition of beatbox to moombahton!!

The final OG track on No Puede Conmigo is a remix of RAM, or Rehabilitacion a Traves de la Musica (rehabilitation through music) – a beat created inside a prison by Apple Juice Kid and an incarcerated beat maker named Professor Angel Sound. To make the the beat, the duo sampled found sounds around the prison studio including a leaky faucet, clicking handcuffs and a guitar. The remix was produced by The 13th Tribe.

Caballo & The Mothafu Kings – Malando # Tuki Bass

Following the path opened by Yirbin, Pocz & Pacheko in terms of Tuki, which has been one the most ghetto genres in South America, normally banned by media and “posh” people, it grew basically out of sight from the conventional media.

Tuki, in case you haven’t heard about it, it’s a variation of “Changa” which basically is a venezuelan slang word from the 90s that means “House music”.The people that danced to this music and partied to it were called “waperos” (pronounced “wape-ross”). The word came from “PUMP UP THE JAM” (people would understand the lyrics as “pump wapejam, wape-ross, wape-ross, wap wape…”). So the Wapero fashion was huge.

Then this sound developed into something called Raptor house, and then it became really ghetto, giving birth to TUKI, Tuki is a blend between Changa, Raptor house, Hard Fusion…

But then, Pocz, Pacheko, Jairo Mendez, Mr Ioso, and few more took it to the next level: THE BASS LEVEL!!

Tuki Bass gets this elements and blends it with Bubbling and new elements such as dubstep, moombahton, breakbeat, digital cumbia without losing its raptor house explosion, and mixed with many venezuelan pop culture elements that they grew up with, Crazy style, and do not forget about the real shine!!! all the dancers are just amazing !!

Buraka Som Sistema fell in love with tuki and they teamed with some of the producers to push it further.
This is the preview of a documentary about tuki

Malandro is a WHOLE ALBUM set for FREE.

Also this Damian-Skrillex Tuki version is included in the free album! so make sure you download the album!

It features Jairo Mendez, Carnnibal and Caballo! DOWNLOAD IT HERE

Not everyone is happy to see the raise of the changa-tuki as a cultural movement. Most people see tuki as a social phenomenom that shouldn’t be exposed to American/European audiences.

Mainly because poor and violent neighborhoods were the first cradle of the movement. And the dancers really stood out!

Latino Resiste presents Metal Latino

Latino Resiste Presents METAL LATINO

DIRECT DOWNLOAD

This is a work that has taken us more than 8 months, gathering and checking production styles, subgenres, countries, and “creative” skills. But the most important part is that we want to achieve something more important:
TO UNITE METALHEADS FROM THE WHOLE CONTINENT UNDER ONE ROOF, ONE PHILOSOPHY, UNIDAD LATINA!!

There were two main factors why we decided to do this: even though Metal is huge by itself in their own underground scene, rarely Latino Bands make it outside their own countries, and second, there is a “radicalism” between elitists who barely listen different genres except their own tastes.

Having those factors in mind, we started a selection process from Bands from all over the Continent, From Argentina, to Canada, we travelled and listened to hundreds of bands, each one great at their own, so the selection process was very hard.

Our first pick was Dia de los Muertos.

Because it had everything we needed, great production, amazing sound, but overall, a pure Latino sound: including A FEMALE VOCALIST!!

Our selection included Carcass’ singer (Jeff Walker) huge Collaboration with Dia de los Muertos, but then we changed it to one that we felt could fit better, MALDITO X (from Asesino, Static x) drops his style in SIGO SIENDO EL REY.

Starting the compilation with a song that is THAT strong, we knew we where going thru the right path.
Metal Latino drops 21 tracks, each one represents a whole trend, a whole movement behind, not only the subgenre, but also the effort, production and passion from the bands.

We will drop the info about those 21 indeed, (bottom part of the post) Although some of those MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED, as they represent what Latino Resiste is about. Gathering together well known and unknown people; towards one identity: LATINO UNITY.

Puya/Ankla founder Ramon Ortiz, decided to unveil his very own and unreleased track Resake, a song that blends brutality, virtuosity, and latino roots.

Eutanasia, the iconic band that had almost a two decades hiatus, comes back to unleash all the aggression from 90s thrash death with a 2012 sound.

Colombian Headcrusher , Mexican Here Comes the Kraken, and Chilean Nuclear are here to prove why they are ahead of the game in their own terms.

But the real highlights are the unknown for many, these bands which have to sacrifice their own savings to record. Some have only a computer and a cracked recording software, and still can compete with well known acts.

This is also something we want to be truthful. You will hear all the production differences as is.
A unique approach that keeps Metal for the masses, and elitists.

Experience the whole compilation, and then share it.

METAL LATINO reveals regardless grindcore, black metal, Nu Metal, Thrash, Hardcore, Death, Deathcore, Fusion, or whatever style you find in the compilation, We (Latinos) have a lot to be proud, a lot to still discover between our own continent, a lot of bands to support, either LIVE or RELEASES, and especially.. We sound as good (many times even better) as American/European bands.

The reason why we haven’t reached further, might be between us. Let’s all unite. Latino Resiste!

Now this is How Metal Latino was created:

In August 2011 Latino Resiste opened the spot for a new compilation.
And we had to get in touch with Alfonso Pinzon, who is one of the most relevant Metal Heads in the US scene, whose label Cinismo Records has dropped some of the most wicked discographies.

Puya/Ankla founder Ramon Ortiz, is perhaps, the biggest addition in terms of “name” to the compilation, an amazing artist whose bands have been headliners in ozzfest and working with oscar/grammy winner Gustavo Santaolalla among more great achivements, but at the same time humble enough to drop not one, but two tracks, and even greater, an UNRELEASED track

“El Sagrado” from Los Angeles, Originally from Colombia, a four piece Hardcore/Metal band founded in 2.002 and currently formed by: Jhon (Vocals), Alice (Guitar), Pájaro (Bass) and Mauricio (Drums) The song is called “Asesino” from our cd “Divino Dolor” labeled by Cinismo Records, and also sponsored by Fernandes Guitars, Krank Amps, Hiwatt Amps, Ernie Ball and Coffin Case.

Black Metal Elitist Earworm- Mindless Obscure Abominations

Black Metal Elitist Earworm is a side project from Caballo, which blends Black & Death Metal with Electronica.

Mindless Obscure Abominations by Black Metal Elitist Earworm

The EP has 4 Tracks, each one covering a subgenre of both, Metal & Electronica.

We know this one might be the most ecclectic EP The Rebel Records has ever released, but after supporting acts like The Algorithm or Den5hion, we feel we are going in the right path for an open minded audience.

Highly Recommended!
