JavierJoeK- Salvaje

Costa Rica hasn’t always been on the tip of one’s tongue when talking about great bass/reggaeton scenes.

However, if you are always keeping an eye on the usual moombahton/dembow/reggaeton oriented soundcloud labels, you will find our Tico homeboy JavierJoeK making strong statements about Costa Rica’s own take on the genre.

Costa Rica’s own take on the genre.
We are very please to unveil his most recent EP named Salvaje which is nothing else but a truly great effort to focus Javier’s energy toward original tracks rather than doing what he does best, which is amazing remixes.

On Salvaje we find a more creative Javier, willing to play with basslines and having straight up fun to set any dancefloor on fire regardless the genre you are playing.
These 3 songs can fit ANY set.. dembow, reggaeton, moombahton, dancehall, bass, you name it, this is a savage release for #zeropesos

PCNVZ- Back to the Jungle

Even though it began like in 2012 jungle terror as a genre conceived by WiWek. It’s a genre we (Latinos) rarely release, but we must admit that back in time, it was a miracle, being such a particular and unusual kind of EDM.

In 2016 we released Money Drop from Junior Ponce aka PNCVZ, a super prolific Venezuelan producer who would make himself a name in the electro-house/jungle terror community later on.

Like many others he moved into newer territories, and now for our 10th year anniversary, PNCVZ has decided to go back to the jungle with this flames.

Coming to the instrumental, the opulent amount of offbeat and experimental groove enhances the rhythm without losing energy. Taking hints from the Dutch and Dark House music style, PNCVZ loves swirling elements which together form a dynamic backdrop. Furthermore, synths licks get added in the equation for even more catchiness, working along the other components harmoniously. The breakdown sweeps in with predator-like heaviness, which fits aptly with the groove.

Can’t skip the fact swanky male vocal joins the league, embedding liveliness to the pattern. Without further delay, the drop takes over with snazzy-ness.

RedKen Panda- Quiere Mambo

redken
Striking Hard from La Paz (Bolivia) RedKen Panda has been killing the Andean Bass game alongside fellow “Oi Mas Bass collective”.

RedKen Panda is the main project from young producer Victor Suarez, who has been pushing his take on the Andean Bass to the same level Bacondo or Dengue Dengue Dengue have reached. in facct, it would be meaningless, not to mention faintly ridiculous, to start talking about “sophisticated” or “experimental” Andean Bass, in part because the music is so rigorously party-focused which is also a big art of its appeal for younger generations. But there’s also a stylistic restlessness that makes QUIERE MAMBO a more surprising listen than you might expect. Crucially, this gorgeously Andean Bass sounds impressed with its own unexpectedness: In the middle of moombahton’s no-nonsense party vibes, pretty much anything is up for grabs.

RAND!ZZLE- Ritual

randi
Los Angeles is one of the world’s cultural melting pots in which people from all backgrounds converge. however, it is not secret that the vast latino population has a vast influence in the underground musical diaspora.
Randy de Miro aka RAND!ZZLE is one of these multi-talented producers who has been grabbing attention lately for his eclectic taste and approach from all over the bass radar. the semi-veteran has been in the game since 2012 although for his debut on the label he drops RITUAL.

The track is a fusion of eastern elements, Caribbean drums, and tons of lower frequencies that will make your speakers cry bass.

BULLA CREW- Drop It

dropit
Ecuadorian producer Ripstep joins his partner in crime Benaje to give birth to BULLA CREW and keep their massive blend of fire and finesse.
Their debut single on Latino Resiste’s Mal Dicen is called drop it, which capitalizes on the infectious melody from the vicious dembow drums and matches its catchiness with an exciting synth-heavy production. The bassline after the drop instantly puts you in a filthy perreo mindset.

After a wave of remixes following the spontaneous release WAKA, Ripstep has rapidly became the hottest basshead from Guayaquil, and it will be just a matter of time before he starts killing it on few other labels.
in the mean time do not hesitate to grab the track because IT IS FLAMES!!

Caballo & Dav!dX- Monster

monster bc
Caballo & Dav!dX get together to strength the so called “world music” bass diaspora. Relying heavily on Iranian & Middle Eastern music the duo blends their well know Latin vibes to empower the listener to forget about boundaries, or what separate “us” versus “them”. The emphasis on strings and basslines makes MONSTER a unique vibe where moombahton, jungle terror, and world music get a well common cohabitation.
