YAYA J’ADORA – Te Destruyo

This is pure Latine dance music made 100% independently from our home studios in LA to the dance floors across the world.

Born and raised in humble beginnings in San Diego and Colima Mexico, Yaya always wanted to step into a studio to put ideas down. Influenced majorly by stars like Yuri, Gloria Trevi, Lupita D’Alessio and pop stars like M.I.A, Kylie Minogue, Gaga and Gloria Gaynor. “I knew I wanted to do a dance floor, party fiesta song. I want everyone to dance, flirt, laugh and have fun when my song plays.”

TE DESTRUYO it’s YAYA J’ADORA debut single and it’s where comedy meets the beats and this combo it’s the recipe for a wild party track. The track it’s a prediction of what the summer 2024 is bringing to us.

“First thing I did after I wrote the lyrics was to call my long time recording and performing artist friend, Brazilian Leopold Nunan, to help me with my vision”.

“He loved my lyrics and we started working together in finding my sound. Leo introduced me the incredible Nino Francois founder of Mafia Tropical for the original music video version and also Brazilian house music icon Dj Marcoo Rezende for a big room Track. The single came out super strong and I am gagged with the uplifting hilarious vibes. Wow I Mean wow!”

“I couldn’t believe I was having this much fun while laying my vocals in the studio. I felt like a super hero having the mic in front of me. I felt heard for the first time in my life and I was rapping in Spanish”.

“This is a dream turning into reality. I have written many songs and always wanted to release it and perform on stage my own sound. I love being funny so I am using all the comedy I got in my music and lyrics. We Latines are always cracking a joke, laughing and making people laugh. That’s how we bond with each other with comedy and lots of laughter.”

And yes it’s coming out with a music video all shot guerrilha style with iPhones in West Hollywood at Heart Club, cat walking by the iconic weho rainbow stop sign, in front of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s station and also in downtown by the new 6th street viaduct bridge – Its monumental “Noir” aesthetic, graffiti layered towering support columns and massive steel arches became iconic in films such as Hot Rod Girl, Grease, Point Blank, Repo Man, Terminator 2 and 3, The Dark Knight Rises and Furious 7 – to name merely a few.I hope with this fun single people, other artists get excited too and start releasing their own beats and ideas. We have a voice too and we queer Latinos also have space in music. I hope I inspire people to pursue music. If I can do this, you can do it too if you want!

Leopold Nunan aka Leo from Rio – Quem é teu baby? Feat Sonia Santos and Ana Gazzola (KARAN RASTEIRINHA REMIX)

Rasteirinha (or Ragafunk) is a Brazilian electronic music genre that derives from Baile funk aka funk carioca, reggaeton, samba and axé.

And even tho the genre is somewhat popular within Brazilians, it is almost unknown outside the inner circle.

Singer/songwriter Leopold Nunan releases the first single, “Quem é teu baby?/ Who is your baby?”  from his debut album. “It’s a sound that represents my roots with a mix of afro, native sound with pop rock influences. It’s highly percussive and uplifting. It’s Global Music and I am ready to take on the World,” enthuses the artist about his latest work.

And we are extremely proud to be able to release the exclusive RASTEIRINHA remix made by 17 y.o. Brazilian prodigy KARAN!!!

The album, “Leo from Rio“, the name by which the Los Angeles community knows him, arrives on streaming this year filled with samba, new bossa, jazz and rock. On the album, the majority of the arrangements and instruments were created by Brazilian prodigy Alberto Menezes

The album is a tribute to Leopold’s father, Plastic Surgeon and Professor Virmar Ribeiro Soares, who passed away seven years ago. He bequeathed Leopold a legacy of more than 300 rare records by giants of Brazilian Popular Music, Sergio Mendes, Gal Costa, Vinicius de Moraes, Azimuth, João Donato, Elza Soares, Jorge Benjor and more. Leopold found a surprise in the collection, an original album from Sonia Santos released in 1977, months after she recorded this feature in Leo’s track. Says Leo, “I cried so hard after finding this relic and called Sonia and Ana immediately.” These wonderful records, that he can’t stop playing, inspire the album’s vibe and it’s dive into Brazilian Popular Music. All from the point of view of an artist with a prior career in electronic music: “I am going back to the basics, all instruments are played by musicians. I had a chance to produce a sound that is a legit homage to my roots and ancestors.” The song will have as a bonus, several dance floor remixes by Brazilian artists like Lucio K, Karan!andDJ Marcao Rezende.

DJ CHERNOBYL- Quebra Tudo

Following the current state of affairs in Colombia and Brazil, iconic Baile-funk originator, DJ CHERNOBYL and LATINO RESISTE team up to unveil a feral expansion in the baile funk universe.

We believed for the past year that being in a pandemic was not a good time to drop music that intends to please mostly party/festive/dj fueled scenes. However, the current situation in Brazil and Colombia with a right-wing police state calls for LR to join the fight with the best tool we have..

CHANGING THE SYSTEM.

that’s why we unveil this new sound:

QUEBRA TUDO.

An explosive crude and revolutionary approach to how the favela meets club minded people in order to add this to any heavy bass underground party.

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT for FREE or PAY WHAT YOU CAN OPTION.

The first track is called HARI HARI, which is a straight up banger using Neo-Baile funk tactics with a fast paced 150 tempo that calls for heavy charging

Track number two HORNZAUM uses the very common favela bass HORNS with this epic riddim that builds up to an even better polyrhythm base that makes it impossible not to jump or headbang.

On third base, we go even darker, completely mental

AS MINA ASSIM.. imagine a pure BERLIN TECHNO inside a Rio de Janeiro favela warehouse.

Last but not least, DJ CHERNOBYL, add his massive support to the resilience with COLOMBIA.

Bass techno blended with neo-favela

Oroshy- Aquecimento

Oroshy is the brainchild of Kin Rocha aka Dj Kin, one of Sao Paulo’s most prolific producers who has getting a lot of attention for his unique fusion of elements.
He gets the favela vibe right; but it is subtle enough to make it perfect for dancefloor appeal without losing the underground sound while keeping a world-centered sound.
His music blends Middle Eastern music with funk carioca, Brazilian bass with moombahton, Western with Eastern, all of it together, but still sounds very Brazilian.
You can download it for #zeropesos or pay what you can option.

On Aquecimento, we found a mature sound, starting with the catchy TREME, a collab with MC R1.

Then, striking with the title of the EP Aquecimento, a rich middle-eastern moombah-bass.

Ta is the next track, showing why slower BPM stuff like rasterinha, and slower moombahton are the future of the under afro-bass.

And last but not least, Gesto keeping the Brazilian-Eastern Indian vibe at high octane.

if you like any of these genres: World, world fusion, Ragga, latin breaks, baile funk, brazilian, brazilian bass, bass, then this release is just for you.
