QUEBRATUDO- AfroPHONK

Quebratudo keep pushing the Brazilian Bass scene towards the craziest yet danceable limits.

Latino Resiste keeps moving towards in our 25th year celebration and since the amazing debut album from QUEBRATUDO , some people have asked us to keep dropping some more Brazilian content.

So, we reach out and the result was something that blew our mind!

A new take on Brazilian Phonk with Latino Afro-Bass. Mainly dominican Dembow, Reggeaton, and Guarachero without losing the edgy dark of PHONK.

Now, for those who do not know what are we talking aboiut; Brazilian Phonk is a high-energy music subgenre blending Brazilian funk carioca (baile funk) with the dark, distorted aesthetic of American Memphis-rap phonk. Popularized on TikTok and SoundCloud, it features fast-paced 140–170 BPM beats, aggressive distorted 808 bass, and Brazilian vocals, often paired with neon-glowing anime visuals.

The Paulista album features MC Luana straight up from Sao Paulo, who probably will become one, if not already is, THE new big name in the bailephonk scene.

AfroPhonk starts with MilkShaiky which sets basically the entire tone for the album. Just wait for the drop to see yourself headbanging to the infectious groove.

And immediately after AfroPhonk comes to explode our minds with some of the craziest African drums with Baile funk but then somehow it morphs into a guarachero track mid drop! Absolute bonkers!!

Academia starts “classic phonk” but then becomes a reggeaton!! Like WTF!!!

Novinha and Cachorrada keep the heat on with MC Luana’s vocals and these massive bassline.

And the cherry on top because one normally doesn’t leave the sickest track for last, but QUEBRATUDO don’t follow any rules and AVIAO becoming a Dembow-Phonk without losing the dark vibe needs to be studied.

Needless to say we are super happy to be 25 years later still dropping new things onto the Latin Music Sphere and while we WILL RE-RELEASE a TON of our legacy, we wont stop moving forward.
